Brandon Follrod
Brandon brings over a decade of combined military and law enforcement experience to his role in school security and emergency preparedness. He began his law enforcement career in 2013 and currently serves as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to that, Brandon served nearly ten years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, earning an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain.
Throughout his career, Brandon has held a variety of high-risk and specialized assignments. He has worked as a city police officer and served on multiple elite state and federal task forces, including the Special Response Team (SRT), SRT Medic Unit, Major Violators Task Force, and the Homeland Security Task Force. In his current role, he leads complex investigations and collaborates with federal agencies to address some of the nation’s most critical public safety threats.
Brandon is extensively trained in firearms, surveillance and counter-surveillance, covert operations, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). He has served as both a tactical entry team leader and primary medical provider during more than 200 tactical operations. In these roles, he has been responsible for delivering emergency medical care under fire, planning medical evacuation routes, coordinating with trauma centers, conducting medical threat assessments, and training regional law enforcement officers in tactical medicine.
Brandon’s unique combination of operational leadership, tactical expertise, and medical training makes him a valuable asset in preparing schools and organizations to respond effectively to active shooter incidents and other critical emergencies.
